INFJ

I had a meeting with my guidance councillor from YES today. Together we went over the results of a personality test I took a couple of weekends ago and it turns out I'm INFJ! Those who fall under this category (1% of North Americans) "seek meaning and connection in ideas, relationships, and material possessions. We want to understand what motivates people and are insightful about others. We are also conscientious and committed to our firm values".

More importantly, those who fall under the INFJ category require 5 criteria in a career for it to be satisfying:

1. Work that lets us use our imagination and creativity.

2. A caring and supportive environment that encourages learning, growth and skill/talent development.

3. The opportunity to work on a variety of issues, creating new programs, services, or solutions to challenging problems that help others.

4. An environment that respects integrity and appreciates unique contributions.

5. Plenty of flex time to prepare and produce work and retain control and responsibility over projects.

This is truly remarkable because the personality test was bang on!! I was given a leaflet of careers to consider given my personality which includes: Librarian, Social Worker, Consultant ...

Bank Slave was nowhere to be found in the list...
