Animals On The Edge

There exists a conservation program by London's Zoological Society entitled the Evolutionary Distinct and Globally Endangered (EDGE) project. The goal of the project is to protect 10 "focal species" a year- species that have few close relatives & are genetically distinct, that are threatened by human activity. A couple of animals on the list include:

the Slender Loris

the Bactrian Camel


But the question still remains: should animals be doing more for the animal rights movement?



I don't like those hermit crabs either!
