So I'm seriously considering getting a pet rat... I'm actually really excited by the prospect. It's unfortunate, but rats have a really bad reputation. For most, the word "rat" conjures images of dirty diseased sewer dwelling vermin. In truth, rats are clean, intelligent, playful, and affectionate animals. If bought from a responsible breeder and are given enough love, affection and attention, rats make really great pets!
