Temperature: -19C
Wind: 54km/h
Temperature with the wind: -31C
Walking home tonight was difficult. The wind penetrated my coat and burned my exposed skin. I couldn't catch my breath. What's worse is that the temperature is expected to drop to -33C tomorrow morning and stay just as cold until Saturday. If you think about it, not many places in the world get to experience the range of temperatures that us Montrealers do. I get to walk home in a range between -30C to +30C. It's pretty remarkable, highly uncomfortable, and it also explains why we like to talk about the weather so much- it's constantly changing and sometimes, like tonight, can be really threatening.
