The Heart

It tends to ache and sometimes attacks,
It can break and maybe even require a transplant!
When nervous it beats fast in your chest,
But it always slows down when you rest.

In addition to pumping blood through your body,
It symbolizes all that is lovely.
Though it is only the size of your fist,
It can be filled with an endless supply of love and kindness.
